This course is run as a fast tracked or self-paced course. The theory component is completed using workbooks. Practical demonstration and assessments are completed face-to-face with the Trainer, or on-the-job at your place of employment.

Funding may be available for job seekers which may cover 100% of the course cost, ask your employment agency for more information.

This course is the minimum required if you wish to obtain a security guard/crowd controller licence.
It is desirable for applicants to have prior basic experience with using a computer system and the internet.
